Salman Khan Acquitted In 2002 Hit-And-Run Case
More than 13 years after he was accused of killing one person and injuring four in a hit-and-run case, Bombay High Court has finally cleared Salman Khan of all charges.

Pronouncing the verdict a few moments ago, Justice A.R. Joshi said, the"prosecution has failed to prove charges against Khan on all counts."

Salman, who was present in the court along with sister Alvira and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma (Arpita's husband), got emotional when the verdict was delivered. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor could be seen leaning against a wall and reciting Kalma silently, tears of relief flowing down his face. Alvira was also seen getting too emotional to speak.

Later, he broke down and wept like a child. His manager Reshma Shetty and bodyguard Shera were present with him throughout.

Salman's lawyer Amit Desai told SpotboyE, "I don't take this as a personal victory. It gives me immense professional satisfaction and I must say, my entire team has worked hard on this for six months now."

Now that he has won one case, will he represent Bhai in the 1998 Black Buck poaching case? "If Salman wants me to, I will definitely take it up," the lawyer said.

A visibly relieved Aayush said, "I am happy to take my brother-in-law back home with me."
